General Information
The main objective of the project “Teaching-Engagement-Development (TED): Academic Teachers and PhD Students Facing the Challenges of the Future” and Task 1, titled “Activities to Enhance the Competencies or Qualifications of Teaching Staff at JU,” is to implement initiatives that enhance the teaching, digital, and green transformation competencies of Jagiellonian University’s teaching staff. The project includes a series of developmental activities, such as:
- Courses and training programmes (obligatory support track).
- Domestic and international internships and study visits to improve teaching, digital, and green transformation competencies.
- Training and courses in universal design, entrepreneurship, commercialization of research outcomes, and other substantive competencies.
- Mentoring programmes.
- Teaching helpdesk support.
As part of the obligatory support track, each participant must complete at least one training session focused on teaching competencies, one on green transformation awareness and skills, and one on digital competencies. This track consists of a series of three training sessions conducted either in-person or online.
The obligatory support track training sessions are scheduled for the academic years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. Detailed information about the training sessions can be found in the TRAINING section.
Additional support measures listed in points 2-4 are available to project participants who have enhanced their competencies or qualifications through the obligatory support track.
Number of participants: The development support is targeted at 500 individuals.
