The Teaching-Engagement-Development (TED) project focuses on enhancing the quality of education and developing the competencies of academic staff involved in teaching at Jagiellonian University (UJ), as well as PhD candidates. It is part of the "Skills" priority within the European Funds for Social Development Programme, which succeeded the Knowledge Education Development Programme. Through this initiative, the Jagiellonian University secured over PLN 9 million in funding.

Main Project Objective:
To align the university's educational offerings with the evolving needs of the economy, particularly in green and digital transformation. This involves enhancing the qualifications and competencies of academic staff, including PhD candidates, through initiatives focused on teaching methodologies, digital skills, and sustainability. High-quality education depends significantly on the expertise and didactic preparedness of those engaged in teaching, including PhD candidates as future educators.
Planned activities include participation in training sessions, internships, and study visits—both domestic and international—directly related to current or future educational or research-teaching activities.
Target Group:
The direct beneficiaries of the project are UJ academic staff and PhD candidates.
