FAQ

Question 1: Does the speed of application submission affect recruitment?
Answer 1: No, it does not. Recruitment is open until 23 September, and after this date, applications will be selected based on their scores, not the order in which they were submitted.

Question 2: If a doctoral student has not taught in English, are they eligible to apply for the JUP Training Program?
Answer 2: Yes, they are. Teaching in Polish is sufficient. If the applicant has not conducted didactics in English, there is no need to include an attachment regarding teaching in English.

Answer 3: The problem can be resolved by trying a few methods:
First method: try logging in using incognito mode
Second method: switch to a different browser
Third method: if you are also an employee of the Jagiellonian University and have two email addresses in the uj domain, log in with your staff email rather than your doctoral one.

Question 4: How can I upload the attachments required for the Programme recruitment?
Answer 4: You can upload the attachments in two ways:

  • through the link available on the third and final screen of the recruitment process, right after the skills assessment and application form on the ZintegrUJ Recruitment Portal, or

  • through the link sent to your email once you have confirmed your registration.

Question 5: How can I confirm my registration?
Answer 5: You can confirm your registration in two ways:

  • by clicking the confirmation button on the third and final screen of the recruitment process on the ZintegrUJ Recruitment Portal, or

  • by clicking the confirmation button in your participant profile on the ZintegrUJ Recruitment Portal.

Question 6: How many hours of compulsory training must I complete to finish the Programme and receive a diploma?
Answer 6: You must complete 80 teaching hours in order to finish the Programme and receive a diploma.

Question 1: How should the internship/study visit centre be chosen? Is there a list of eligible centres?
Answer 1: The centre should be selected from the QS ranking.

Question 2: How many obligatory training courses must I complete to take part in the recruitment for internships or study visits?
Answer 2: You need to complete four compulsory training courses, each lasting 10 teaching hours, one for each of the four competences.

Question 3: If you lose your doctoral student status during the Programme, can you still take part in a placement or study visit?
Answer 3: Yes, you can. However, the application procedure for the trip is slightly different in this case.

Question 4: Do I need to choose the host institution for my placement or study visit myself?
Answer 4: Yes, it’s up to you to select the host institution and get in touch with them to agree on the details of your placement or study visit.
