When planning the internship, ensure that the 10-day period does not include public holidays in the host country, as these days are ineligible for funding and will be considered non-reimbursable.
Detailed information about the recruitment process will be provided before the start of the recruitment for international internships.
International internships aim to:
- Enhance teaching competencies;
Acquire skills beneficial for academic and teaching work;
- Exchange experiences in modern teaching methods and techniques;
- Develop competencies for teaching in intercultural environments and conducting classes in a foreign language;
- Improve digital competencies;
- Foster skills for green transformation initiatives.
The plan includes 100 international internships, each lasting 10 days (including travel days). The internship involves at least 6 hours of teaching activities and consultations with academic staff at the host institution, focusing on teaching techniques and methods, including observing educational practices. Participants must have proficiency in the host institution's language of instruction or English to ensure effective communication.
Once selected for the international internship, the participant must submit the following document to the Project Office at least 30 days before departure:

After submitting the documentation, participants must complete a travel application. According to Order No. 33 of the Rector of JU dated 1 April 2020, JU staff must submit travel applications via the Information Portal. JU Collegium Medicum staff submit paper applications.
Financial support is granted only upon signing the Declaration of Participation (Appendix No. 2 of the Regulations).
Note: Submit documents as early as possible (1-2 months before the planned departure) to secure tickets at favourable prices.
Based on the Declaration of Participation and the travel application, subsistence allowances will be prepared and available for collection at the International Relations Office (DWM) 7 days before departure.
Within 14 days of completing the internship, participants must settle the trip with the International Relations Office (DWM) by submitting the following documents:
